From learning to play violin at the age of four through Suzuki, to writing and producing two full-length hard rock albums in his teens plus performing on two full-length Southern rock albums and performing hundreds of shows since childhood for thousands of people, Derek Chase has lived and breathed music his entire life.
And it's paid off.
Derek won first place in a national Arizona Jean Company songwriting contest, won Honorable Mention for his original "The Words You Say" in the Billboard National Songwriting Contest, earned spots to sing the national anthem at ACC basketball tournaments and more.
But there's been a bigger reward. "The thing that has made me feel the most complete and satisfied has been developing a truly unique sound—incorporating my passion for pop, Motown, classical, blues--that's totally, utterly me and that audiences genuinely love and enjoy."
With a line-up of magnetic originals and his own twists (with splashes of violin and live orchestrations) on classic and modern pop and rock, Derek serves up an experience that always surprises.
Derek is ready to play at your next event.
"Connecting with the audience is vital to the success of any performance. Getting the audience intrigued and engaged is huge. That all begins with a stellar performance, a positive, magnetic attitude and great songs; all of which I reach for in every single performance." -DC
